Physical Education

Department Members: Kevin Burke, Anna DiPierro, Kevin Fennell,

Physical Education is offered as a means of guiding youth through successive stages in 1) the development of physical fitness; 2) lifetime skills and activities; 3) desirable social traits and qualities of good sportsmanship. The Physical Education program is built on continuity of activities and progression in skill development.

Social and Civic Expectations
Bacon Academy Physical Education students will:
• Develop and maintain a healthy lifestyle
• Demonstrate active civic participation and the ability to cooperate in a diverse world
• Create an environment of respect and take appropriate action against harassment, abuse and discrimination

Health

Academic Expectations
Bacon Academy Health students will effectively:
• Demonstrate technology literacy
• Understand and demonstrate a positive role in the community
