PowerSchool Information

The PowerSchool Parent Portal is open.  Your username and password have not changed, they are the same as last year (if you have forgotten your log-in information, please call your child's school).  However, the web address to access the parent portal has been changed.  You may log-in by clicking on the parent portal link below or by using this email address, http://pschool.colchesterct.org:8080/public, and then save it to your favorites. 

We are confident that you will be pleased with the recent enhancements that were installed to PowerSchool this summer by our amazing IT Team. 

To Update Contact Information:
Please remember that if an email address or phone number needs to be changed please send that information, in writing, to your child’s school. Or, if you have children in multiple Colchester schools, you may send an email here with your name, your children's full names, and the updated information.  You will receive a phone call confirmation. We will update PowerSchool, which will then automatically update your SchoolMessenger account within 24 hours. 

PowerSchool posting expectations: Grades 6-12: Minimum of one new assignment/test grade per class entered every two weeks. Grades K-5: Weekly Homework Notation (completed, not completed). Universal Screen Data entered within 2 weeks of assessment results.

How to Create a Parent Account (First Time Users)

 

iPhone and iPad Apps

iPhone and iPad Apps are now available for parents and students.  Please follow the directions below:

For Parents:

1. Using your iPhone or iPad, click on the link below to access the app to install; https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/powerschool-for-parents/id444983648?mt=8
2. Install the app;
3. Open the app;
4. Click OK;
5. Click I understand;
6. Click Manually Enter Settings -
1. Server Address: pschool.colchesterct.org
2. Port Number: 8080
3. Turn SSL to the OFF position
7. Click Back in the upper left-hand corner;
8. Now you can log-in using your existing PowerSchool username and password.

For Students (WJJMS and BA):

1. Using your iPhone or iPad, click on the link below to access the app to install; https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/powerschool-for-students/id444984364?mt=8
2. Install the app;
3. Open the app;
4. Click OK;
5. Click I understand;
