FREE APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL STUDENT AID (FAFSA) forms (http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/) may be submitted after January 1, for students planning on attending college in the Fall. You may now apply online for a pin number at http://www.pin.ed.gov/. With pin numbers, parents and students can electronically sign the FAFSA. Having the numbers ahead of time will simplify the financial aid process and allow you to get your results faster.
FINANCIAL AID CAUTION! Some organizations are offering “Free Seminars” on Financial Aid. At the conclusion of the seminar, some may try to “sell” you their services for several hundred dollars. Click here for a list of helpful financial aid websites.
