Please note, once you have completed the Volunteer Request & you are approved, your name will be added to the Approved List for the remainder of the school year. You will NOT need to reapply for each visit to the schools.

  • Registration is now open for Winter session classes! C3 programs are free and open to all Colchester Residents. Programs include Play & Learn groups for children with their parent/caregiver birth to 18 months (Baby & Me), 18 months to 5 years (Joyful Noises). Parenting Workshops include the Village Parenting Support Group and Conscious Discipline. Go to ColchesterC3.org to learn more and to register.

Young Yogis: After-school  class at CES K-2: 

Tuesdays : 1/10/23- 2/7/23

Each class  will combine yoga and mindful practices in age appropriate ,playful and engaging ways. Children will participate in activities that will help strengthen their bodies, build social emotional skills as well as learn strategies for self regulation and relaxation … while having fun. The instructor will meet  students after-school and walk them to the class . Pick up is at 4:30. Mats provided - and please have your child wear comfortable clothes . 5 classes on Tuesdays: Jan. 10, 17, 24, 31 , Feb. 7 - $50.00 - instructor: Susie Hawkins- Max  enrollment is 8 students .Register now on  line: www.colchesterct.gov/recreation-department or call the office: 537-7297
