2023-2024 School Year Budget
The budget process for the 2023-2024 school year is underway. Throughout the budget process, presentations and budget documents will be posted on our website under the Board of Education Education Budget page. There will be upcoming Board of Education budget workshops on February 14, 2023 and February 23, 2023 at 6:00 PM in Town Hall Meeting Room 1. We encourage families to participate in the process and join us at budget presentations and workshops so that your voice can be heard.
Volunteers
Please visit the Volunteers page for more information about the volunteer application process for Colchester Public Schools. Please note, once you have completed the Volunteer Request & you are approved, your name will be added to the Approved List for the remainder of the school year. You will NOT need to reapply for each visit to the schools.

WINTER SEED SOWING ACTIVITY
With the growing interest in gardening for pollinators, the Colchester Garden Club is offering a Make and Take activity on Winter Sowing. This free drop-in workshop will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 between 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Cragin Memorial Library, 8 Linwood Avenue, Colchester. There will be a pre-selected choice of seeds available to plant from the Colchester Seed Library.

Yoga Theme Time :After school yoga class at CES

Yoga Themes are:
Bee Calm: The Buzz on Yoga
Dinosaur Yoga
Lucky Leprechaun Yoga
Partner Yoga Adventures
Each themed yoga class will combine yoga and mindful practices in age appropriate, playful, and engaging ways that will help them stretch and strengthen their bodies, build social/emotional skills as well as learn strategies for self-regulation and
relaxation…while having fun. The themes for this 4 week class series are: Bee Calm: the Buzz on Yoga, Dinosaur Yoga, Lucky Leprechaun Yoga and Partner Yoga Adventures. This class is for children enrolled at CES grades K-2. The instructor will meet students after school and walk them to the class location at CES.
Parents/Guardians will sign out their child at

Colchester Youth Lacrosse
Registration is now open for the Colchester Youth Lacrosse sports recreation program. This opportunity is available to all boys and girls from Kindergarten to 8th grade! We accept all applicants. Our program uses positive reinforcement by developing team players and leaders. Our focus is to develop the players in a fun atmosphere and introduce them to a fast, growing easy to play sport.
