Food Security and Meals Schedule Update:
Colchester Public Schools was recently approved to serve community-wide meals to “eligible” children, which is now defined as any child 18 years old and younger. If you are 18 years old or younger, and live in Connecticut, you are eligible to receive breakfast and lunch from our school district. If you intend to participate in this food security program for breakfast and lunch, Monday through Friday from 9am to 10:30am at Bacon Academy, please complete this survey so we may plan accordingly: Food program survey. Details and safety protocol used in the meals program are included in the survey and on the district website, CPS Coronavirus webpage.
Grades K-8 Lunch $3.00 (reduced .40)
Grades K-8 Breakfast $1.80 (reduced .30)
Milk $.65 for all grade levels
Ice Cream $1.00
Switch Drinks $1.50

NOTE: Children receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Temporary Family Assistance (TFA) or Medicaid (HUSKY) benefits may be directly certified and automatically eligible for free meals without applying for benefits. (Some children who receive Medicaid (HUSKY) benefits may also be directly certified and automatically eligible for reduced-price meals.)
