WJJMS Students Develop App for the Town of Colchester
Posted 04/06/2018 01:00PM

Sixth grade William J. Johnston Middle School Informational Literacy students Allison Deane, Olivia Elliott, and Sherlyn Vazquez created a mobile app to help people get acquainted with Colchester. From places to eat, things to do, information about the schools and historical places to visit, the app offers a comprehensive look at all that Colchester has to offer visitors and residents alike. Even long-time locals might discover new finds under the “Hidden Surprises” link. The students are excited to get their app out into the public, as they work on improvements and updates. ¨We have worked very hard on this project and we hope you look at it and enjoy it,” encouraged Olivia. “Please give us your feedback and let us know if there are any problems¨. The app works on both iOS and Android devices. You could get the app by visiting this link: bit.ly/2oaCemV. They have also made a promo video here about their app of Colchester and could be viewed at: https://youtu.be/bJFNS_B3C48.
