Mr. Mal proudly carried on his favorite BA tradition by donning his elf attire and helping facilitate a “Notes of Warmth” celebration on the last full day of school before winter break. Students shared handwritten well wishes while enjoying cups of hot cocoa, spreading kindness and cheer throughout the building. Thank you to the BAMbassadors for sponsoring this event! As we head into the winter break, we extend our warmest wishes to our students, families, and staff. We also encourage our staff to unplug this holiday season and truly enjoy their well-deserved time off. We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for a great start to the new year! 

On Wednesday, December 17th, the BA music department presented their Holiday Extravaganza which was very well attended. Selections were presented from the 6:45 Band, Chamber Choir, Jazz Band, Con Brio Choir, Symphonic Band, Concert Choir Carolers, Percussion Ensemble and a very entertaining surprise addition from the Music Tech students. A surprise visit from a very entertaining Santa made the evening even more. Pay to pay collection will be Dec. 12th- Dec. 23rd. Please pay online using this link.  Please create an account even if you opt not to use the online payment portal. Receipts of payment (online, cash or check) will be emailed via My PaymentsPlus.com. 

Payment of cash or check are also accepted and can be dropped off in the main office. Checks must be made out to TOWN OF COLCHESTER.

Business Ads: Do you own a business? Or would your employer consider purchasing a Business AD to place in the 2026 Baconia Yearbook? This sales campaign has allowed us to keep the price of the yearbook for students the same for the past 5 years.

Please consider purchasing a business ad. The deadline is February 1st. Here is the Business AD Order Form.

Parent Recognition Ads: All Recognition Ads must be done through Jostens. The yearbook class/staff does not create these. 

Please use the link for Jostens or just google “Jostens Bacon Academy”. The Final date for recognition ads is January 30th. There is no extension and no additions after that date.
