Our students showcased their musical talents during two outstanding spring performances that highlighted the dedication and growth of our young musicians. On Wednesday, students in grades four and five presented the Spring Instrumental Concert. During the school-day performance, the entire student body had the opportunity to enjoy the concert, and families returned that evening for a special performance. Fourth and fifth grade band students demonstrated the skills they have developed throughout the year, performing with confidence and enthusiasm. The audience was also treated to an energetic performance by our Jazz Band, whose students impressed everyone with their musicianship and stage presence.
On Thursday, students in grades three, four, and five took center stage for the Spring Choral Concert, again performing once during the school day for their peers and once in the evening for families. The chorus filled the auditorium with beautiful harmonies and heartfelt performances that reflected months of practice and commitment.
These concerts were a wonderful celebration of the arts at Jack Jackter Intermediate School and demonstrated the important role music plays in our students’ education. We are incredibly grateful to our music educators for their dedication and to our families for their continued support of our performing arts programs.
