Important Graduation Update – Class of 2026 Commencement

Dear Families,

Given a substantial change in the weather forecast and based on the recommendation of Dodd Stadium general manager, we have made the difficult decision to move tonight's graduation ceremony back to the Bacon Academy gymnasium.

All previously distributed tickets will be honored as issued:

  • 6 tickets for seating in the gymnasium
  • 4 tickets for seating in the auditorium, where the ceremony will be livestreamed

Schedule for Tonight

  • Seniors and attending staff should arrive by 4:00 p.m.
  • Doors will open for guests at 5:00 p.m.
  • The graduation ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m.

We anticipate that parking on campus will fill quickly. Families are reminded that a shuttle service will run between Bacon Academy and Jack Jackter Intermediate School from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to accommodate overflow parking.

Graduation Rehearsal

  • Rehearsal will still take place at 9:00 a.m. as scheduled.
  • The location has been changed from Dodd Stadium to the Bacon Academy gymnasium.

While we are disappointed to make this late change, the safety and comfort of our graduates and guests remain our priority. One benefit of the relocation is that the gymnasium is air-conditioned, providing a more comfortable environment for the ceremony.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. We look forward to celebrating the accomplishments of the Class of 2026 this evening.
